It started out innocent enough. I was on Sephora.com just doing a little casual browsing… when I saw them. New nail kits from Ciaté. At $19 each, they’re a bit of an investment, but I am going gaga for them. Check. It. Out.
First up is Carnival Couture. I love this hodgepodge of color!
Next is Kaleidoscope Klash. What a perfeKt name.
And last is Wonderland, which looks absolutely magical.
I have never seen this product in real life, nor have I seen someone wearing it, so these kits remain shrouded in sweet, sweet mystery. Here are the details I read:
According to Sephora, these Very Colourfoil Manicure kits are online only. Limited edition. And exclusive to Sephora. I don’t know about you but to me, that sounds like a taunt. Or a threat. What’s a girl to do?!
Is nail polish tax-deductible??

I’m horrified that I’m actually commenting on a blog – it always makes me feel like a creepy stalker. But….
Not quite is, well, sophisticated but…. I’d been all obsessive over these but can’t bring myself to spend that much on foil. Because I’m cheap and I lack trust. So I figured I’d do my best to cheaply replicate this (though it’s hard to replicate something that no one seems to have actually done? Where are the Very Colorfoil swatch posts??) and I’m anxiously awaiting my abundance of foil from here: http://www.dollarnailart.com/cat_pages/foils.html and of course while I was there I accidentally picked up glitter, studs, and too much more.

Allison! First of all, thanks for the comment. It was far from creepy. In fact, it was downright inspiring.
When you told me there were no swatches, I was aghast. How could this be?! So I took one for the team and shelled out for a Very Colorfoil set just this afternoon!
